Care to be...Human: Science, Medicine, and Technology: The Geriatric Challenges of Modern Times

As human life continues to lengthen, medicine and science are working in unison to move the end word in our lives further and further ahead. As a direct consequence, the average age in what is called the “first world” continues to rise, creating a shared condition of an aging world population.

New life perspectives face humanity and at the same time new challenges arise for Medicine, Science and Technology that aim not only to lengthen but qualitatively improve the lives of the third and fourth ages.

A series of seven meetings where experts, doctors, scientists, researchers and associations will guide us to discover the geriatric challenges of modern times and their possible solutions.
